'Chaos is order yet undeciphered' - J.S.

I'm sure we've all come across it:

Two opponents rush through the opening phase of the game like bug eyed kids ogling confections. They make a mess of things - pawns everywhere, and bishops bouncing around like circus clowns - and you think to yourself, 'the French were right', on account of their naming conventions.

But no game is ever truly lost, there must be a winner. The one who usually wins that game is the one asked themselves a very important question: How do I make sense of this position?

Finding the order in chaos before your opponent does so is imperative. Collect yourself, steady your pace, and figure out the figures. Often you'll find that you can save the game, clear your mistakes before your opponent manages to stop bouncing all over the place like an astronaut out of orbit.
