According to my experience, over 99% of players don't insult you during gameplay, but unfortunately jerks like that are not completely unavoidable. However, I have noticed that they are usually lower rated players, and choose games with short time controls. After having improved from the weak sub-1200 live rating to the still meager but a bit stronger 1600 during my time in this site, these morons have practically disappeared. Remember that you can also disable chat and block the user, which prevents him from accepting your game challenges again.
