cheating time?

Is it possible to cheat the timer? It doesn't seem to matter how fast I play on bullet mode, my opponent seems to end with more. In my last game, my opponent ended a turn with 41 seconds on the clock, but 3 or 4 turns later they had 40 seconds. Even if I pre-move, it costs me 0.6 seconds or so per time?

Your opponent can't impact your clocks. Here are some things you can do to minimize lag on your end: https://support.chess.com/article/213-how-do-i-fix-my-disconnect-lag-issues

Cheating time is not only possible, but it's actually rather easy. All you have to do is go into the settings of your device and change the clock speed to x10.

chess.com has added some mathematical formula to control players game time. They can choose who can win the game by increase or decrease time control on players. The subscriber ususally will get better time . More subscriber more profit to the company.

Not true. There can be a difference between having ads and no ads, but clocks are not being manipulated based on membership level.

I have a question Martin_stahl. Why are lots of cheating threads almost immediately locked if it even contains the word “cheating”, can’t you just…..move it to the cheating forum? I’m not trying to be rude or anything, I’d just like to know.
