Also in /live when you click on the opponent you can see his rapid,blitz and bullet ranking. In /play you only see the ranking of the time control you're playing.

There's a new feature that will be in place before the Live Chess interface is retired, that will include the Live Analysis Board, or something equivalent.

Live Chess will be removed because the "Play Interface" is better than the "Old Live Interface".

The "Play Feature" is where you can play live and correspondence games there.
Whereas in the "Live Feature" you can only play live games there.

Curious, like many "improvements" made to software, I didn't hear mention of the number of steps (mouse clicks for most) to accomplish a task old vs new.
And for ALL functions... not reduction in one and increases in all others resulting in greater work load (steps). Of course a trade off at times for steps vs functionality/capability.
Chess.com has been great to and for me, so other than the math (stats) at end of analysis being... strange.

Also in /live you have options to see the people who plays with other even if he is not your friend. A request to friend (even not being accepted) do the trick well. Now this is missing
You can see other players on the Watch tab, which works identically to the older interface.

One of those was because you apparently had a tab or session open to the server in another tab/device and may have been the reason for the second alert due to the reason on the first.
You can only have one session attached to the live server at a time
