Chess.com pandemic

The MD21 is a contagious disease that has been spreading rampant over chess.com this past week. However, it's not the first time it was discovered.

Last year (2021, if you didn't know) A disease that was later called the MD21 spread across chess.com infecting some very prominent figures, including @Hikaru.

It became an pandemic sometime around fall of 2021.

The spread of the Mute Disease of 2021 stopped when Winter came. The rest of 2021 was pretty much old members getting over the symptoms.

Now the pandemic has started another wave. New people are getting banned, muted and for no reason.

Reports of an 'ok' post on forums muting you has been pouring in.People being banned left and right, not for cheating, but because they were infected. The situation isn't getting better, we are all in danger. We must act immediately.

Suggested course of action:

We should all quarantine from chess.com for the standard 2 weeks. This way the site has time to kill the disease and move forward. We must be distance from each other because I hear this is a highly infectious disease. Back in the 2021 wave of it all of the administration team of R2GM was infected because they didn't quarantine from each other.

If you are infected DO NOT attempt to chat with others.

Yeah you just gotta properly wear your mask when passing one of the people who caught the virus

more thorough compared to cdc guidelines 

I don't think this disease transmits like say Covid

I am the cdc and am purposely making people sick

I am not sure how contagious it is. I might still be contagious...I know that chatting with muted persons is bad because it will get you infected

And how does one get vaccinated for it ?
I joined Beta club - quickly got muted for nothing out of a clear blue sky.
Had to contact the staff.  
Just a couple of days ago.
Then was un-muted.
But I quit the Beta club too.
So that's my Booster Shot.  Quitting Beta.

So beta is causing the disease?

I don't want to leave because I get first dibs on the new features. I guess it makes sense that it results in glitches. 

One could leave Beta for periods of time.
Like make it 10% Beta per ten days or whatever.

Whenever you think it has gone away forever, a new variant appears. Only a software patch can save us now...
