Good one, cupcake.
Chess Community Alignment Thread
BTW, many of my favorite posters are here. I have even enjoyed RR's contributions now and again.
flags actually looks like that. No makeup.
I'm pretty happy with the selection, though there are definitely some who I wanted to do but couldn't.
Fantastically done. The most accurate representations of pseudo-anonymous internet forum-goers I have ever seen!
And happy 19th!
that's very clever. although i don't get the last two. would someone mind explaining them to me? suggo's account has been closed and i don't see the correlation between ilikeflags and the joker.
still, thanks for the laugh!

As for suggo, he'd be hard to explain. Now if you were to tell me that knowing when to resign is a sign of politeness and increasing chess knowledge I could take the suggo perspective and try to make you think you were a crass nazi.
Oh yeah, he would maintain no matter what the social conventions, that whatever the rules allowed, one could do, impervious to all calls for common sense. Indeed, such people who asked for "politeness" were in fact the impolite ones, as they were pressuring someone to change.

I like alignment threads so I sat down and decided to define my favourite group of online posters through shallow alignments and fitting quotes. I didn't get to do everyone I liked and since I didn't want this thread to be deleted I didn't make any of the Evil's people I actually dislike.
Sorry if you were missed, I didn't do everyone, but I'd like to see other people do some as well.
