There's literally anoption on chess.com that turns on light mode. On PC, it's at the bottom left corner of the screen, and on the web mobile, press the three horizontal bars, then look at the bottom, and you'll see light UI.
Chess.com's site is black. Isn't that depressing?

Just change your background like I did! Go to Settings - Interface - Custom Background.
