I don’t get why people look at a thread title and try answering seriously, but never bother to realize the OP is just raging that he lost and can’t get even. He doesn’t care about anything you all say.

or maybe because they just want to move on to the next game?

Maybe your game is too weak and not a challenge. Maybe you're too strong for me. Maybe I don't have time. Maybe I want to analyze the game. Or just maybe I do not like you!

Well said

Why complain about no rematch?  Will you complain about that also? If your opponent doesn't want a rematch quite frankly it's none of your business why not.  Enjoy the game you had.

OP no one is obligated in giving you a rematch .

Have you ever noticed that the people who whine the loudest about rematches are exactly the kind of people that normal people like to avoid? Coincidence? I don't think so

JackRoach

I bet the OP is hiding out somewhere, trying to ignore his thread backfiring on him.

@Lasker - exactly. One of the many reasons I avoid rematches is because the people who want rematches tend to be the exact kind of people that I dislike. Of course this isn’t always the case, but it’s true enough of the time that there’s no reason to risk it.

If I win and I'm thrown a rematch request I'll simply move on to the next game - I almost instantly press New Game, anyways - because more often than not it's just pettiness and a thirst for revenge that compels those rematch offers. If we were having a civil conversation in chat and I was directly asked for a rematch then of course I would accept it. Same way I often don't take draw offers out of the blue - they're just used as a failsafe when a sore loser is losing, anyways.

Actually I usually don’t rematch because when I win one game or get my rating higher than yesterday I just stop playing.

Also I don’t like rematches, because yes I am a coward. I run faster than Alekhine after he wrested the world championship title from capablanca.

Nobody owes you a rematch or an explanation, so if I were you, I would value this feedback, Your presumption of otherwise is misguided

He is not a chess PLAYER, He is a chess REMATCHER

and they are smelly, and they drink out of the milk carton and only leave a tiny bit left in the milk container.  Man, I hate them all and their parents who had them wink.png

It's natural to get angry when one loses, if your main goal is simply to win.

That's why these days, I try to play good chess and learn something from each game, instead of trying to win. That way, even if I lose, I'm still happy with the result.

A subtle change in how you look at things can do wonders, especially if you're finding yourself angry all the time.

I want to review my game before rematch.

You are disgusting. The joke you made earlier isn’t good either.

Again one of these topics the OP says something rude about a theme that is going against other players (i.e. somebody is cheating or, like here, is not rematching....) and a lot of people answer and talk more or less on the topic, but the OP never makes a second entry in his own topic. There are dozens of such trolling themes and useless discussions in this forum.
