I was curious so I looked up our browser statistics :)

Internet Explorer 7 = 34%
Internet Explorer 6 = 17%
Firefox 3 = 28%
Firefox 2 = 14%
Safari = 4%
Opera = 1.5%
Chrome = 1%
Other = 0.5%

Interesting! I think we have helped a lot of people move to Firefox ;)

Heh, firefox is best :)

Blah. This just shows peoples overdependence on browsers with flaws to render their webpages their way; despite there being open standards and the flaws being just that; flaws. :/

You should make a deal with Mozilla...

By the way, I'm amazed at how Chrome got its market share point in 24 hours... Could it go even further?

I use Fire Fox

They both work well, BUT FireFox moves a bit faster...

Chrome/Safari

I've tried Chrome at work and it seems faster.  I really like the fact that each tab is it own process/sandbox.  That ought to give the malware people something to think about.

Amen to my brothers using Opera, the greatest browser on the face of the Earth. Glad to be part of the 1.5% using the best there is.

FIREFOX IS THE BEST

Firefox works well on this site.

Chrome is still in beta and has quite a few flaws, it's performance is also erratic in terms of speed.

I use both Chrome and Firefox 3. I am still experimenting with Chrome and it is much faster when playing games, it just doesnt work with some of the other features on chess.com yet. I really like how pages jump up with Chrome but it is memory hog if you have multiple tabs running.

Love Firefox.

Am trying Chrome. It doesn't support the diagram builder for whatever reason. (I blame Google, not chess.com, for that!)

Your words are wise "brother" :-) Only few chosen ones can see Opera's transcendence. That's why we have only 1.5%

If Opera had a better name, more people would use it.

I love Chrome, but I don't like the fact that the bookmark organization/import/export is so primitive and the Flash plugin doesn't work quite as well.  With that as it is, and with the development progress being so slow for linux/macos, I figured I'd just go back to ff3 (with the pretty chromifox theme).  The next version (3.1) has loads of performance improvements that should bring it up to Chrome's level (or surpass it) in terms of speed.

I will still miss the process monitor and separate process per tab, but I can live without it I guess.

We will have to wait until the first real release of chrome... I forsee that it will raise up to 5-8% of the market, then stall there, as FF 4 looks very promising.
