Esperanto is heavily based on the Romance languages. Can’t you get something more unbiased?

When I was younger, I had an attempt in learning Esperanto. It is a great idea to use a language like this one instead of English - but the main problem with that is the fact that Esperanto doesn't have any support from the governments and even big tech companies.
Without this kind of support, this movement will never be successful in its main goal.
