My point is, of all the 90s footballers, why choose Laudrup?  Why not Boban, or Hagi, or hell, your own Scifo?  B. Laudrup was a good runner, and M. Laudrup was a fine midfielder, but to posit either one of them as the pinnacle of talent and achievement is perplexing.

It seems possible I've managed to overlook ML to a degree I shouldn't have, but really, do you honestly love yourself this much? Do you really think asserting your opinion as fact is a sensible thing to do?  Yes, the sport has become increasingly drearier as time has worn on, but I don't know why you'd look to the 90s instead of further back, if that's your concern (how about the days of 2-3-5 formations?).  And I really don't understand why you'd rag on the few teams actually still trying to attack, just because they don't do so in a manner you appreciate.
