Well, I do not possess the experience mentioned above, but I've been told I have a pleasant bass voice. Although I communicate basically in Hebrew (I'd be more than happy to record a version in this language!), I am a native English speaker, and in fact have taught English in NYC as well as in Israel - so my speaking ability has been honed over the last 40 years. However, I am not certain I have the necessary equipment for recording and forwarding the script. Other than that, I am certainly willing to help out.
Chess.com Needs your Voice!

Hello,
Two questions:
*Which languages do you need?
*How much work will it be (is it just for one video?)
Greetings
Artsew

English; one 12 minute video. Probably a second.
Thanks for the offers already. For now I'm going to wait to see if someone with that experience contacts me.

Looks like you have several members with better qualifications, but I have had radio broadcast experience in the past and currently have experience as a regular public speaker in front of audiences ranging from 60 to 800.
However, my English comes with an English accent, having grown up in the UK. Have chess experience as a local club and tournament player.
Happy to provide a voice test if required. Anything that promotes chess and chess.com is good with me.

Post a couple of lines of the script here - and let everyone have fun recording themselves and posting it back here!

I could do it. My friend and I temporarily did our own radio gig on stickam.com (it still "runs" but we haven't done an episode in FOREVER), so I know how to do stuff like this. Plus I am a "kid", so I believe it'll be easier for kids to listen to another kid because it "sort of soothes them". So, please send me a message if you want me to record the scripts. Thanks.
Hey folks,
We are looking for someone with voice-acting or radio experience to record the audio for a new chess video for kids. Must be a chess.com member, because we want someone who also has chess skills! (though we will provide a script, we want you to know what you are talking about).
Thanks!
