I have one: The Rampant Chess.com booster (I don't have a cool name for them sorry). But these are the guys that in just about every thread make chess.com seem like the greatest site ever, and how honored they are to be members...something along the lines of "That $99 membership was the best money I ever spent in my life, and I can't believe its so cheap!! I would easily pay $1,000 a year! Just think! Unlimited tactical trainer problems!!"
I love those guys.... :D
What stereotype do I fit into?
It would be nice to get to know you Erik, so that we could accurately determine that...
Perhaps you should spend some time with us in the community ?
Since my idea has led me to the conclusion that you probably do and we just don't realize it, I will say that you are incgnito, looking for conspiracies usually...lol
The CIA Operative.
Everybody is under constant surveilance. They will read your profile with the utmost scrutiny. They will do background checks on your friends. They will read everything on their notes page. They will check your game history. Their MO: Everybody is hiding something. Trust no one. Conspiracies are everywhere. Don't take anyone at face value...
The last part of the sterotype, is a stereotype within itself. I apologize for that. Please don't shoot me, I am just the messenger.
a rampant chess.com booster would just piss me off too much.
why do you let other people's beliefs or opinions upset you? you can be in control of your own mind. be strong. don't be controlled by what others say or think.
Erik posted 2 times on my topic! *swoons*
you can learn about me from ALL of the "Building Chess.com" posts I have done (in news), and also some of my archived Chess.com State of the Union TV shows...
Dashkee94 can write a movie script about your life, but I call dibs on the rights, if it goes into syndication.
Vikings know only of Erik the Red,
His trusty iron sword dripping with blood,
Plans for the raiding season ahead,
Surprise attacks, blood and guts in the mud.
Then with the help of the wind back to sea,
Navigator locates the North Star,
To the north with gold and tresure they flee,
The Viking ships travel quickly and far.

I had no idea that you gave state of the union speeches...you are the class president too then...and I found this also:
Also, erik is also a good idealist
I have mulitple personality disorder too...I have 3 things going on also. Are you a resident also, it would seem that at times you'd atleast be a part timer ?
Thanks for the info about the threads and tv show. I will have to look that up.
The "What About X," exception guy.
This person, who makes up the vast majority of online posters on this site asserts you and your post are clearly wrong, based on a single (largely) pinheaded exception that he deigns to provide.
In Classical Rhetoric it's a (pinheaded) method of arguing, where you grab one loose thread in a sweater, and insist all will unravel, if you only pull hard enough.
These folks are EVERYWHERE in these nutty forums.
Presently company excluded, of course.
Good one! I'll add it with minimal changes becuase it's well writen. Thnaks zborg!
Couple hours later, I finally added him! Check the first post!
Another one: Forum gamer
Only posts in forum games, you cant find them anywhere else
Okay I'll add it! Anymore thoughts?!

Wives of the Norsemen happy they survived,
They celebrate drinking beer by the quart,
The scourge of Europe returning alive.
Celeberity. exactly the way you described it.
Seblebrity doncha mean! Yep, you and many others.
Lol good one But yes theyre are many people like this.
So is SebLeb the Justin Bieber of Chess.com?
Omg. Do you mean good Bieber like before or bad bieber ?
Celeberity. exactly the way you described it.
Seblebrity doncha mean! Yep, you and many others.
Seblebrity... I like how that sounds. Too bad you can't combine "Macer" with "troll."
Yeah I like how it sounds too
How about Troller ( Macer and troll ) thats what you wanted right ?
IDK about Troller, that just sounds like we're calling macer a perpetual Troll! There was a good Beiber?! WHEN?!
Wait a minute; When I 1st started posting, I thought Macer was a big trouble maker. Turns out I was wrong. He's mild compared to others here, both past and present. I suggest every new member meets Macer at the door to the forums, like the official mascot of chess.com. He could stand as gate keeper and give directions to either dead threads, or threads on fire.
