well, we'll definitely get the time when it happens, but it might not be such a great idea to make the name of the member public-like by giving him a trophy.

Awwww... Why can't Erik have a guess too? It's not like anyone's really going to win anything. This is all just for fun. Anyone who would try to cheat at this by editing his post to have the right answer (when there is nothing to gain from it) is worse than someone trying to cheat at online chess with a total stranger. 
I'm more concerned at why the total number of members is still stuck at 952,099. I KNOW we've had a lot of people join since then!! If the counter doesn't start moving again, we'll never know when it happens. 
Well, the figures in the home page are static at 952,099 since yesterday... I believe that:
1. This number is changed manually????
or
2. This number is refreshed with other parts of the site????
or
3. Nobody has joined the site since yesterday???? (According to new members list there are new players... around 400)
or
4. Erik wants to win the prize himself and is cheating... :)
OK. I put Erik's guess in the list.
P.S.: We still gotta come up with a cutoff date.

I suggest you cutoff all 'guesses' when the total registered reaches 990,000 that keeps it a little bit uncertain.
