ah yes, you are not the first one to call me Bilbao, no doubt through daydreaming of them holidays that you know will never happen. I've no idea about my avatar, just googled pictures of chess knights and voila (so feel free to enlighten me if you know more about it)

Chess.com "friends" are not really friends. You will probably never meet up for real - they might as well be faceless entities you play chess with.
The only two friends I have on chess.com are people I am actually friends with in real life.

So then, How to get lots of friends in real life?
Go out and meet people, and be friendly. Obviously.
Why do you want so many friends anyway? Isn't a few close friends enough?
Although you might be trolling.
Also, I have read that the human brain cannot handle more than 150 friends on social media.

Each friendship is different, and it's unfair to draw sharp lines or lay a blanket statement across it like "X-website/online friends aren't real friends." It's certainly more difficult and often more tenuous of a relationship, but friendship is ultimately a spectrum and can spring up anywhere, with everyone at different levels with each other in different ways.
But yeah, it is true that there are only so many people you can manage in your social circle at once, and much fewer that you can really have a close connection to.
Making enemies is easy: just do... something. Anything. Specifics are unimportant; someone will have a problem with it.
