Now Coolout has gone, is it ok to say that I was convinced he was bt's alt? I'm still pretty sure of it
Yes, it's ok to say... it makes me wonder about your dementia, but sure.

I know a lot of people don't like their slumbers being disturbed. Honestly, I like you but stop acting like a grumpy old goat.
Somehow I might be happier when people don't like me. Or maybe misery loves company... or something.
You and bum_t bicker like children, or if you prefer, an old married couple... other than that I don't really have a problem with you.
Control is never lost... but I'm compelled to comment whenever I disagree with optimissed... in fact I have a moral obligation! To not reply 100 times if day, if that's what it takes, would be obscene!
You're in complete control? Uh, sure...
Go ahead and let me know when you find a post where I am out of control, I guess.
Go ahead and let me know when you read an optimissed post you disagree with, but choose to not reply, I guess.
You're so careful to play by the rules that I haven't a clue what you're talking about and it isn't going to be worth working it out. OK let's give it a rest.
He's taking about Mr Mudd. When did we all get so paranoid folks? You thinking bt and coac, him with Mudd and coac. All I can say is, We need new theories. Can't beat em ...
Coolout was active on some non-chess forums for years, with the same name, and style, and as you might imagine, the same infamy.
That plus we all seem to agree he was both unique and sincere... it's very unlikely any well known poster was/is his alt.

Happens frequently when he posts about music, actually. Don't blame me because Optimissed's innocuous and non-aggrandizing posts are so infrequent.
I don't know him, sadly. But if it's abuse and he was closed for it, I will not miss him whatever the reason.
People have bad days. Judging a person when they're at their worst may make sense in certain cases but not on a silly forum.

Chess.com may have given him a second chance to create an account. And according to an Everyone knows him. Most famous saviour we’ve had recently."
And his account, which was created in 2021, means he should have known the rules and the consequences even in his "bad days".

Bad days, everyone has them.
And who's fidelis?
Incidentally I was reported by @cooloutac for racism. And I wasn't even having a bad day.

Coolout's Chess.com struggle is over. May he find happiness wherever he makes his next internet home.
Just replaced my old Panasonic sys2 with Mitsubishi heavy industries sys4. Looking for maintenance advice.
i didnt like him but i grew to like him and saw a different side to him, i dont think he was a troll rather a more misunderstood individual and i actually started considering him as a dear friend
I mentioned this in another thread, but: "You teach people how to treat you."
If Coolout was a misunderstood individual, it was (unfortunately) because of his own actions.
He was repeatedly confrontational, aggressive, condescending ... The backlash he received was a rather natural counterweight.
If I stroll around in a duck suit all day long, I should not be surprised if people start to treat me like a duck ... (And yes, I'm aware of how strange that analogy is. )
But Elsa wouldn't let it go
Heh, clever.
