I'm not sure you fully understand that particular issue.  There are tens of millions of us around the rest of the U.S. who would be absolutely thrilled to see Texas become independent.

i can't really blame this dude for being worked up.  people who aren't close to this situation don't really have any idea how heated it really is.  this is a mess.  no matter what chess.com chooses they won't make everyone happy.  similar to the ulster situation.  i like all the flags but not the bad blood.  i wish there was an easy solution.

Well, this has been a very informative and entertaining thread.  I never knew there were so many disputed flags, countries and ways to spell ignorant.  I am glad the OP put this out here so we can all become better informed and insulted at the same time.  At this point I have forgotten what the original argument was, if it is a country and should have a flag, or isn't a country and shouldn't have a flag, or is an amusement park and should have six flags.  But, it is time to get back to chess, which is my reason for being on this site.  The only flag I care about is the one on my clock (old school clock, that is).  May the flag never fall on your last move.
