Westworld Season 3 is blowing my mind right now.

Artifical intelligence will take over, it's inevitable.

Seasons 1 and 2 were so much better though. In season 3 the dialogue, the plot, the action scenes and the acting as well as the world building clearly suck compared to what it used to be.

I don't believe llama is actually in his 30's. Probably more like a 13-15 yo.

Does it matter?

Nah... What's important is that llama is potty trained. Otherwise, this could potentially be a problem when he comes over for dinner.

Chessiship

yes indeed

Isn't @KibiDangoman perma-muted?

All his threads got completely removed.

Yeah but I think that happens to anyone who gets muted. Doesn't necessarily imply a perma mute. It's been like 2 1/2 weeks now I think, so maybe she got muted for a whole month?

Well, I have been muted before, and my threads did not get removed. The only thing that happened in the mutes is that all my comments on the forums disappear, but when the mute is over, the comments reappear.

So I think that @KibiDangoman got something more serious than a mute. But we can ask her once she reappears

Exactly, all your posts disappear when you get muted. Hence, the topics that you have created will temporarily vanish as well, since they are also considered posts of yours.

I got muted too, like a month ago. I don't really care anyways, the llama thing got old quick after the fourth time he ran from the challenge, or was it the fifth in the end? Don't remember

Yeah, it was waaaay easier for the writers to come up with good stuff when everything was confined to the park. Now that Dolores is out in the free world, it's almost become a movie, with countless sets, locations etc. That's definitely a challenge. They are basically doing Ex-Machina + Super Action Movie in a 10 Episode format, give'em a break man.

They chose this format themselves. The cow-bow park theme was great, but the "cyberpunk" environment feels like it doesn't belong. Before all the characters were enigmatic and tried to find their ways out, but now the mystery part has vanished and the characters are one dimensional.

I still watch it Because I want to know what happens in the end, but I wish the producers didn't Go so much off the rails.

Well, we just learned that the "real world" is just another park, where humans follow a predetermined path or "programming" if you will, chosen to be best suited for them by an artificial intelligence.

That is why Dolores no longer wants to dominate humankind, but simply free them by bringing down the system, because she realized that humans are just as controlled and manipulated as hosts.

That whole Serac episode, where you learn how that super computer A.I works and all the years of personal data is released, was absolutely incredible.

"...when one gets muted all their topics disappear..."

Also, you joined like a couple weeks ago, what happened to the real SpiderUnicorn account?

Colby-Covington

Hey llama, you wanna play unrated?

Colby-Covington

The best part is the club's spelling.

"Also monthy tournaments where there will be a prize of one free months membership for the winner."
