We have our 1st person who signed up for the class action law suit.....lololol       https://www.chess.com/forum/view/help-support/i-want-you-to-show-the-evidence-of-the-prosecution

AlCzervik

we need a firewall for the bots telling us we are violating "standards".

52yrral

Yeah, I'd like to know which numbers I tried to post violated Community Standards?

AlCzervik

heck, your name could be a violation-it contains numbers!

52yrral

It might've been that dang smiley face I'm always posting sent the wrong impression to a  bot! sad.png

autobunny

chuck the autobots, you folks need the autobuns!

another day, another freeze-out:

You are unable to challenge Titled and other protected players until you have played more games.

i've posted about this here for well over a month.

staff, erik-hel-lo?

AlCzervik

spider, try to stay with the conversation. just four days ago i wrote that i had the freeze-out after trying to accept an open seek from one rated 1100.

not titled.

same thing happened earlier and this bug needs attention. what are "protected" players?

AlCzervik

i did, and that's when he responded here. if you would like to be part of the conversation, be a part of the conversation.

moderators do not have the abilities staff has. the automation of the site is an ongoing issue.

AlCzervik

you assume i do not understand that some people need to be paid for a site to function, or, bots can be installed. i get it.

the bots suck.

if this issue is not addressed, a number of us will leave and the site will be dominated by kids that do not care about functionality.

the site regularly claims they are #1. if they are, issues brought forth by many of us would not be handled by any form of automation.

i also think you are assuming i (and, maybe others) have never been to any other chess site.

i also think you have been here for a short time and are unaware of the failures presented in this topic.

stop assuming.

" what are "protected" players"?       IMO that would be drmrboss. happy.png

You ought to Message @erik about your issues directly.

Y'know, he probably doesn't bother looking at threads too much, he's got the moderators and auto-muters for the job!

@erik specifically asks on his profile for people to not submit support/site issues to him via message. That is likely least effective way to communicate issues

And frankly, even if he didn't mention this on his profile, I'd assume it's the worst way to contact him.

I'd bet a thousand 12 year olds message him daily about "I luve ur site" or "plz be my friend"

At least they're FINALLY closing cheater's accounts. They've really upped their game thumbup.png

llamonade2

Obviously a low rating shouldn't prevent a person from being banned for cheating. If you wait until they're 3000 then it's pointless to develop sophisticated cheat detection.

llamonade2

They don't ban people on "claims" they do it on evidence.

I didn't expect a 10 hour old account to make sense.

Oh wait...

So lets up it like this. If you want to surprise me you'll have to do two things:

1) Don't be an idiot

2) Keep your account open and active for longer than a week.

they ban sub-1000s playing crappy moves, claiming they used assistance, so it’s best not to get too excited.

This is drivel, IMHO.
