Feature Requests and Wishlist Thoughts!!?

This is chessme, just to let you know that I have been playing Chessmaster 10th Edition. This is awesome, everyone should have it. That is why I have not been on the chess web.
On September the first my wife and I had a baby boy. AWESOME.

First of all, great job on everything. You guys are doing a great job and we can all be patient, so don't get too stressed out!
I figured something like that needed to be said after 9 pages of suggestions!!!
One more:
When I am playing e-mail chess, I usually have 4-8 games going on at one time. Sometimes, I am playing one or more of these 'live' while also probably submitting moves for a couple other games as well. Because of this, I like to tab my multiple games and deal with them individually. However, whenever I submit a move, a new window opens with my next ready game, so I have to go back to 'online chess home' and then click back into my other game. Sometimes I end up with 5 tabs of the same game, when I want to be playing 3 of them 'live.' If there is a way to turn off this 'automatic redirecting' please tell me how. If there is not a way to do that, can you guys change that?

there is a little dropdown menu to the botto-right in your games. select "stay on this board"!

How about a donation option? Some of us may like to show our gratitude to the people making this site, and make a small donation to help keep it running? Just an idea...
i love this site and made 2 friends sign up already (am working on more)but just a couple of questions/requests
- can we change our display names? i know the email address can not be changed but i thought since there was no warning when i picked my display name that i might be able to change it (and now i hate having to type in larsensorkingsindian everytime i login + i gave up on the larsens
)
-maybe when we click the "go to game" link in the email notification we could be automatically logged in (especially if you cant help with my first question/request)
- also i second being able to take back moves in unrated games
- i think the rating of the highest opponent won should be the rating at the time of defeat instead of adjusted rating (i beat a 1618 and ppl think im making it up b cuz my profile says best win: 1445 grrr )
if these are repeats of other requests (which i dont think they are cuz i just read all 9 pgs of this topic ) or if any of these features are already available please forgive me 4 being such a space cadet
great site i love it tried instantchess.com and it was totally weak compared to yous guys peace outside ~chessica~

Is there an area where we can store our "favorite games?" It would give me the chance to quickly refer to a game that was especially significant.

Why don't you let some community members work on programming for some of this stuff? Maybe give a few people temporary or reduced admin priviledges so they can work on some of this stuff, or have them submit the programming for inspection before it's included in the site. Either way, it'd be a great way to harness the resources of the community. There's close to 6,000 people on this website, isn't there? There's got to be a few who are really good computer programmers and have built websites before, and can help you get stuff done. I'm not trying to say that you and the others aren't good programmers, but it would be a lot easier to let someone else take some of the load.

just one thing, i was looking through the list of countries, and the channel island guernsey is the only one listed that doesnt have a flag. why is that? I used to live there and i know it has one. just curious. It is fairly recent, only 20 years old, so you may have missed it.

I think the stats page need a little amending; a players lowest and highest achieved rating includes their first games so a 2000 rated player who only had jumped from 1200 to say 1350 after their first game now has a recorded lowest rating of 1350. (WGM YelenaDembo's lowest is 1361) Similarly a player who has a genuine rating of 1700 might win their first game against a 1800 rated opponent so gets a recorded highest of 2200. The way to fix this would be to not record this stat until a player as completed 20 games.
Another thing (sorry if this sounds too picky) is that with your highest rated win it shows your opponents rating after the adjustment caused by you defeating them which I know is horribly pedantic but its just doesn't seem correct to me.
My winning streak shows 10 and my losing streak shows 1. I don't really understand how this works.

Would there be a way to show our current winning/losing streak? I always want to try to beat my record, but then I have to go to my archives and count how many wins/loses I've had in a row. It's nothing much, just a little piece that would make it easier.
Could we have some buttons at the bottom of each screen on our games that will allow us to go directly to the next game even if we haven't made a move, instead of having to the list of games and then manually clicking on the next game? You could even have 2 different buttons at the bottom of each game: One where it jumps to the next game where it is your turn and one where it jumps to the next game in line regardless of whose turn it is. Again, this will really come in handy when we want to look at the game but not make a move yet.
Yes, we plan to have "Live" relays of major chess events from around the world once the live chess is up and running in good condition.
I like your idea of "audio", maybe we can dream of having a Chess.com radio (sort of like ChessFM) and become the major source of chess audio on the net. But that is a dream far off in the distance it seems.
