Thanks for the link, phishcake5. I've seen those sites before, both very good.
But I was looking for interactive discussion with other chessplayers and chess book afficionados, something that a forum can do better than book review sites.
we do have the Chess Equipment forum. i can change it to be read "Chess Books & Equipment". would that be better?
Personally, I think it is good as it is now. Especially with the description right below it saying
"Get and give advice on chess books, clocks, sets, videos, and any other chess equipment!"
Oh, ok. I didn't know that chess books was grouped together with chess equipment. I normally think of equipment as boards, sets, clocks, carrying bags, scorepads... things like that.
IMO, I think the discussion of chess books is a large enough topic to warrant its own category. I was an active member on Chessville and chess book discussion was quite active there.
I wish there were a forum category for chess books.
