From 450 Blitz to 950 to 550 to 950

Does anyone else have rating fluctuations like this? Because I fully expect to go back down to maybe 650 again. The funny thing is 650 players don't seem easier to beat that 900 players. So I think there's only about a one-move-per-game difference between two players 250 points apart.

I'm not sure if this will help dude, but I use to think like that all the time. The truth is it's a difference that you aren't probably noticing or probably don't seem to care.

I've beaten players 1200-1600 because I thought it was because I felt like it or I thought maybe they are weaker than players I've beaten before. But after a while it became not about winning anymore. I can't tell you how to feel about chess. But I play players from around 900-1600 all the time and 99% of the time I'm just looking for a good game.

Concluding my bs. I say just feel like beating them all. I don't agree with the 1 move difference, but if the opponent seems to be strong early in the game. I would play to win and treat them all the same. I usually throw in club, tournaments and arenas every weekend for my beginner members. That's when I usually try to ignore the rating differences in my head. But sometimes it's just so hard to ignore lol
