Game Explorer Still Not Working

I'm half-american, proud of my American nationality, reading this thread about a fantastic website that promised you nothing but puts a lot of effort anyway into getting better, with more and more features, access to all countries through translation, millions of games, a very accessible, intelligent and polite staff team, and you are acting SO spoiled in your remarks and SO vulgar in the way you write to mottsauce, and I am thinking : I understand why some people on the planet find Americans to behave like gross babies.

Everything was said about the problem, we just have to wait, we don't need to insult each other, please...

That's just it, Powerlevel, they won't comment on such threads, your insistence is counter-productive... Let's leave it at that.

I could see my games until a day or two ago. When I couldn't, I checked these forums and found out other people have had this problem for months. Has the issue been fixed for any of these people, or is it affecting more of us as time goes on?

Separate issues. People have been complaining their lives games were missing - only online games showed. Now all games are down, but all games will be back up, with live games added this week.

@musicalhair: sorry I was a jerk to you.  I just get really angry when people like Powerlevel demand "everything, right now".

I sniped at Powerlevel because he made an ad hominem attack at the makers of the site: "they lied to many people, they will fudge up the reasoning instead of telling the truth...."we don't care about this because its not important" ".  And then, after the guy who owns the site took the time to post in this thread to say "hey, it's almost done!", Powerlevel said "no one cares about this...no staff member has posted".

I've deleted my jerk-y posts, because you're correct; they are unhelpful and incendiary.  I apologize.

However, I would prefer if you didn't tell me what matters to me.  The two reasons I got a membership were 1. To get more time on tactics trainer and 2. to have greater use of the game explorer.

Did you really have to turn this into a nationality bashing exercise? You have a problem with one person, and decided to turn it into this? Seriously?

I started this thread simply to try to get a little more attention to a non-working feature. This after two polite requests to the help desk over a three plus month period. Nothing more, nothing less. I am not sure why this had to turn into a flame war.

What is your source of info for the "games added this week"? I'd really like this resource to be available soon, and don't want to get my hopes up for no reason :)

On a positive note, I've just noticed that I have my games back on Explorer, so I hope you get yours soon.

I don't have a problem 'with one person', and I don't have a problem with you and your thread at all.

I have a shame feeling when I read requests and insults, 'my money!', 'my rights!', and realize how this is perceived by others who are just so happy to be able to log on to this website practically for free every day. There is more to learn on this site than you can cope with in ten lives... Then when you get your luxurious toy back, you don't even say thank you... Spoiled and grossly ungrateful, that's the way we are perceived by the world.

But this is a waste of time, you probably don't hear the way you sound.

Please show me where I whined about anything. I enjoy this site but am frustrated about one feature that isn't working as it should and simply asked for a status update since the help desk was unable to provide an estimated time of fixing.

If you have problems with others' "whining", please limit yourself to insulting them if you must insult at all. Bringing in a whole nationality discussion is insulting to me.

Also, when you posted this, there was only one post that I could see that sounded like whining. I believe you stirred up the pot quite a bit with the insult bomb.

Ah, between the flame wars, I missed that Erik is staff. This IS good news! Thanks so much for the update... I appreciate this site and look forward to using this new feature for myself and my two children.

Wow, do you realize how much more this says about you than it does about who you're talking about?  Probably not.

My aim is not to argue but to show how some of what you ask for, and the way you ask for it, can be perceived by a silent majority. Hope it helps. Over and out, I am turning the Tracking off.
