It is possible tho, if the person is very dedicated (Even I'm 12 and nowhere near 2000)
I have my average game go 1400 but 1100 to 1200 is pretty good
Probably close to 2200 seems like a good rating

Says a 2400. That Wikipedia thing was published last year. and barely any under 16 year old make a master title, only about 1% of chess players under 16 years old make a master title.

I am 11 and 2100, but don’t let this discourage you. Playing chess alone is hard, and at the age of 12, that is amazing. Keep going.
