Switch openings. In my next post I will explain the openings you should change into for both colors. Also stop playing bullet, I know it’s fun, but there is no improvement in that and you should start practicing(when you have time in the position) to start looking for free pieces/pawns, weaknesses, pawn structure, and tactics to help your pattern recognition and if you combine this strategy with puzzles then you are unstoppable!

How to study in chess.

Start with openings. they guide your plan into the midgame and it tells you what to do. If you like playing for long-term styles and aggressive things combined I recommend the Colle-Zukertort(it is a d4 opening) and if you want an e4 one the Italian game works best. For black you have to find openings against e4 and d4 and for the rest of white’s opening just use opening principles and the same goes for if you are white. For openings I would recommend for black against e4 is just either e5, the French defense, or the Caro-Cann and for against d4 I recommend the KID(King’s Indian Defense). Next in the midgame, focus on these and they are in no order, but please remember to study them all.
1. Stop blundering: do daily puzzles and trade off threats.
2. Positional play: control space, weak squares, and place pieces on active squares.
3. Attacking: use pawn storms, bring pieces in, and sacrifice when needed.
4. Defense: trade attackers, counterattack, and protect your king with a solid pawn structure. Endgames are also important and there are 2 types of endgames. Theoretical and practical. Practical endgames are ones that don’t have a clear path(in perfect play). Theoretical endgames are ones that have a clear path(in perfect play). Online is the best source and remember to check the free stuff.

Playing slow in bullet? sounds like a fast way to lose on time? LOL

Why are you so fast at responding at my comment? You know that can get you banned for responding too fast.

Yeah, it’s real

Why would responding fast be bad?

You don’t get better with scholar’s mate.
You don’t get better with bullet.

You will improve if you change those 2 things, probably.

Stop trying to play the scholar's mate. More experienced players will never fall for it, so by relying on it, you won't be able to level up. Also, bullet and blitz will hurt your game. You need to be playing rapid or longer time controls and you need to use the time to practice calculating.

Stick to basic chess principles. Chessbruh's Habits series on youtube would be a good place to start.

I like king's fiancheto opening. I win like 80% with that opening.

We all go on losing streaks sometimes and losing 5 games in a row isn't fun; I've done that many times before. It's frustrating, or disheartening, but the bigger issue here is the part where you feel bad about it. Be forgiving with yourself. It's about learning and improving; if you do this, then the rating and wins will eventually catch up to you.

Stop playing for Scholar's Mate though. It's not a great opening. You are hoping your opponent falls for checkmate and if they don't, then you get a worse position; that's called "hope chess" because you are hoping they miss something and it's a bad way to play chess; as you play higher rated opponents, then your cheap tricks work less and less often until eventually it isn't worth to keep playing. Learn any solid mainline opening you like and stick with it. I also recommend trying 10 minute time control or longer. Bullet isn't enough time to think when you are only a year into chess or so and blitz chess isn't much better.

If you don't know what opening to switch to, then maybe try this quiz (quiz link in video description) and the video I made that goes with it. This quiz will help you discover your playstyle and at the end of the quiz, they recommend what openings you might be good with for white and black.

p.s. my hair is my natural color by now and not bright blue

Dude. I used to be 966 Elo or something and now I'm only 827. You're not the only one who wants help. No offense.
