I think she's the one dealing out the much worse with that rating.

Well, I don't see the need for anyone to know my age and gender on here, where I only want to train my chess. One can register with whatever nickname and avatar pic, and if one wants to wave the red flag to the bull instead of focusing on chess, it's then their choice.

But sure, on the other hand, one should be free to register with young pretty girl nickname and avatar, and not be harrassed for it. But is it only possible? Pragmatic or idealistic are the two stances one can take here. I'd take the pragmatic one, cos I'm not on here to flirt and let know other teens with who I'm dating nor anything such.

They should make a block feature, so guys wouldn’t need to come on here to ask what girls should do

why not utilise the online world to the fullest ? who you are online is your choice

ive seen bunny rabbits , cats dogs , etc , each with excellent social media fun in their characters

yes it is a problem on the internet , folk harrassing others , but who is going to pick on a fifty five foot tall purple and green dragon called clifford ?

Ah everyone has their different opinions but I think we all must be enough mature to understand we should not harrash anyone sending bunk of messages if the person is ignoring you 👍

No, "we" (whoever we are) are not mature enough to not pester and harass people. This is one of the major problems with the internet and social media.

The biggest problem with social media is that basically anybody Gen Z and younger have no concept of anything. They spend their entire life on social media, have no true social life in person with human beings, just chat online all the time. They don't understand English and when you go to a public place like a restaurant or store, they have zero concept of manners or customer service. "Hey boss man" is not what you say to customers. You don't tell a 63 year old man to get their bill with the QR code on the table without explaining how to do it. You don't spell later "l8r". Professionalism is gone in Gen Z and beyond all due to social media!

The reason why Gen Z and Gen Alpha boys harass girls online is they are way too embarrassed to do it in person because of how immature they really are because they spent their entire life on social media that they have zero concept of how to speak in complete sentences or understand any concept of professionalism. There is a Buffalo Wild Wings I go to all the time on Tuesday nights and over the weekend. The Tuesday night shift a woman in her mid-40s works the bar and is extremely professional. Saturday night I often get some random teenager that has zero concept of how to speak in the area of customer service - he would have zero chance at picking up a girl in person - she is too smart for that (I have seen younger female waitresses and you can tell which ones were raised right and taught what to do when these creeps harass them and which ones weren't). So he hides behind the screen and cat-calls them online. Once Gen X and Gen Y go extinct, this world is toast!

There is a setting in privacy to only recieve messages from friends only.

But such filtering makes a problem when it comes to club membership. Many clubs make it a prerequisite that admins can contact members by PM.

They can just request the admins to change the settings or leave the club.

Channel your inner chess queen and gracefully deflect their messages with a touch of playful banter. After all, charm is a girl's best defense

The girls should report and block the guys and maybe not send private information to other people.

The clueless should follow the thread.

What I want to know is what these ding songs are doing to even identify who is a girl. Many of those with a Pic of a girl are guys showing off their girlfriend, or finding some random eye candy pic of some hot woman wearing just enough to avoid the porn violation on chess.com. Maybe if you are a girl that is getting harassed, disguise the fact that you are a girl and put a picture of a cement truck or something that would lead them to think you are male.
