You are contradicting yourself. The golden rule explicitly states to be rude.

The unfortunate flaw in that citation comes when somebody wants to be treated in a way that most would detest. If somebody wants and expects rudeness then they think the golden rule gives them license to be rude. The pre-posting default comment about people being kind and respectful is not as easy to twist (albeit there is the song that goes "you gotta be cruel to be kind").
The first couple of fake hack-rants that I saw were mildly amusing but then it gets old fast. I'm reminded of a passage that I first read in a book by Heinlein (probably not original to him) where it discussed jokes that were funny all of the time, funny never, and funny once. When you tell a funny-once joke the first time you are a wit. Tell it again and you are a half-wit (maybe geometric progression, maybe worse).
The hack-rants are a funny-once joke and there will always be people to repeat them ad nauseum.
