It's just a hot take... but it has some truth to it... you can probably squeeze out 100 points or something.
But yeah, I don't know if people realize... for example Carlsen was over 2700 at age 16. He's in his 30s now. How much has he improved since then? Relatively speaking, not much.
What's your hottest take on chess? Could be about top players or about the game itself.
A hot take is basically just another word for an unpopular opinion.
Ex. Lasker is the GOAT, Stalemate should be removed.
