How acknowledge checkmate?

Hi,

I just got beaten in chess. I see that I am in checkmate. How do I tell the software that I acknowledge that I lost? Resign?

You don't have to do anything. The game is simply over, and it should say <opponent name> won by checkmate.

If the software hasn't told you that you have been beaten, you probably weren't checkmate. Other possibility is that you are using software unknown to me.

OOOPSIE...I see the problem. The software could see that I could block the attack. No wonder it didn't say "game over".  Chess.com works correctly.

it should just say that black/ white won.
