I got the Chess960 achievement by joining a tournament so maybe it works the same for that I dunno

You get it by playing 10 bughouse games.

Go to play > 4 player and variants > bughouse

If it isn't unlockkng that means it's glitched and you cannot unlock it unless you get a human staff to unlock it manually for you
