What pfren just mentioned about the ICCF GM title being out of reach is an indirect result of chess being a draw with best play.

I played chess for one year and I am over 1800 but not yet 1900, will I make it to national master or candidate master level in 2 years? I am just curious.
Most likely not but you definitely get there in your lifetime (unless you die in the next 2 years). Also you have played for 2 years.
You can earn correspondence chess titles with the ICCF by playing online or postal chess.
(CCE) correspondence chess expert
(CCM) correspondence chess master
(IM) correspondence chess International master
(SIM) Correspondence chess Senior International master
(GM) Correspondence chess Grandmaster
Even a dumb guy can be an ICCF CCE/CCM/IM.
The one and only ICCF title worth talking about is SIM, because the GM title under the current conditions is practically out of reach - even the current World Champion isn't a GM.
