Junior class has just recieved a player who joined on exactly 6th May 2009 :)
How long have you been a member of Chess.com?

I am here since september 2008. I used to play here with username MANOJKHURANA, then i became Giantloser and afterthat i adopted the username Kakroach and now i am Gambitbuster. So you can call me "junior"
Hi junior

There aren't a lot of data points, but it's still interesting to note that the average ratings of each of those groups correlates to the seniority of the members with the most senior group having the highest average rating.
Could this be an indication that simply being a member of chess.com improves your game?
(Yes, I know that there's selection bias towards active forum participants and those willing to join such a group and that it's also not a statistically significant sample size, but it's still interesting to note)
I think the Question answer its self, for out in ze real world, it's pretty hard to find people whom are interested in chess, where I'd be lucky to have a game every month or so, & with people of the same degree, online chess for sure helps your quality of play, yo!

i still remember when thegab03 joined, and when redsoxpawn joined, and before the days of patzer24. so, that makes me a solid senior. i've more or less given up on the forums, though

oops. i didn't mean patzer24 (who joined before me), i meant cheater_1. i guess i really am a senior!!
I hope these new groups will be at least as exclusive as the the-dark-knights - which limits membership to ...
"anyone who likes Batman or the new Batman movie, anyone who likes to use the Alekhine, Indian, Nimzowitsch, Zukertort, Mikenas, Lemming, Australian, Anglo-Lithuanian, Horsefly, or Black Mustang Defences, anyone who completed a game in my Dark Knight Tournament, or anyone else who wants to join."
They forgot to mention the unicorns in the attic.
