Step one, devote 10,000 hrs to study of chess. This means learning many openings and positions. Step two, study and practice tactics in puzzles. Step three have a lot of disposable income. Step four, be a natural genius at chess from a early age. Step five, devote all your life to a game.

Eh strategy is more important then openings, tactics yes but solved puzzles arnt the only twice you actually have to get them in your games otherwise it doesn't matter how good you are at tactics ,I was also not a chess genius at an early age I started at 12-13 maybe even 14 lol

First of all, write down “grandmaster” on a piece of paper. Then, bring it to the newspaper place, and tell them that you want to have your name printed on it as a chess grandmaster. That is my advice.
