How to Get Chess.com Games into Chessbase

About a million years ago, I used to play on the ICC and have all completed games automatically emailed to me as .pgb files when the games ended. From there, I’d import them into Chessbase.

Is there a way to do something similar — via email or otherwise — here? I’m looking for some automated system to capture and export my games, ideally as they happen. I know it’s possible to manually download a game in .pgn form, but I’m hoping for something automated.

There is a s no automated way to do it. You'll need to manually download games from your archive and import them.

Seems like a good reason to play on Lichess instead of here. I don’t understand why that’s not a feature here — especially for paying customers.

With the number of members, with many thousands of games, allowing bulk downloads could be resource intensive. I'm not certain that is the only reason, but is likely one of them.

You can select a bunch of them from your archive, click download, and as long as you’ve configured it in windows that pgns “always open with” Chessbase - your CB will open automatically and they’re there. It’s not really a problem.
