How to inflame

i'm not quite certain the exact question being asked here. However i think chess and a sense of humor is an oxymoron, no??? Just thinking outloud here...
Perhaps so - the "ego" factor in chess makes many players suffer from a lack of humour (U.S."humor"). This post is exploring the humour aspect, which is good.
"So I was having dinner with Garry Kasparov - Problem was, we had a checkered tablecloth and it took him two hours to pass the salt!"
haha...That's a good one :)

Of course it is a parody... you've never heard of The Onion before? Gosh, I thought it was obvious. Sorry it wasn't positive enough for you. I'll find something downright sacchrine for you next time.
//I keep hoping you'll defy my estimation of you as utterly dull and boring

Most of the posts are sad examples of what chess "nuts" do with their spare time (me included ). "How To Inflame" - how ironic!

Make a disparaging remark about a named individual ... and watch the bandwagon roll.
"It's not a proper flame war unless cHeSsKiDdInG turns up."

Pose a question, or is it though? with word order askew missing a few but what?

Anterior anecdotally and antidotally antiseptic anodyne answers artfully avoiding antipathy and inflammation.
