I chatted with some creepy dude today. The conversation started off normal, first talking about the game but then it turned quite in which I consider personal. He asked me my real name and age. I told him I share those details with only people I meet in person. The convo got sexual after that and I decided to resign. I am never chatting with anyone again on Chess.
My username isnt my real name. And it took place in another device I have. My school computer. In there I have another account in which is still not my real name.

OP you should report this person, he could be dangerous. What he said is highly inappropriate especially if you are school age.

I've been playing chess online, across various platforms, for over 20 years now.
I can tell you from two decades of experience: keep your chat disabled, by default. Your online experience will be much better, without it.
