the league is not yet completed, there are currently 4 days left. If you are still in the top4 then, you will get promoted to the next level.

It was one of those ideas chess.com put out there to drive engagement with the site that was more successful then they imagined but also much more short term because they don’t seem to have thought through “what next” - there’s no filters or features linked to the league you’re in, is it really just the a fancy club?

You have to be in a promotion spot at the end of the week when league divisions reset. That happens on 12 PM Pacific time US each week. So you still have a few days until that time.

Three and a half years ago, Chess.com had a Leagues competition, which gave people points for every win. Everyone was put in a division with 49 others and at the end of the week, the leaders advanced to the next division. There were some significant prizes for the people who advanced the fastest through the many league levels.
The competition ended 3 years ago. The Leagues apparatus remains in place.
