It does sound like the amount you spent on a mic is closer to $20 than $200... this wont stop me from watching your videos... maybe some people really care (?)  Anyway, good luck :)

It's just my computer's stereo/microphone....didn't think there were problems until today!

CheKnight

Awesome sauce.

The second video has been posted at this link.

Once again guys, thanks for all the support and encouragement, I'm at 20 subscribers already! Cool

InfiniteFlash

Here's the third video guys! It's not a dutch defense opening video. It's a blitz game vs Elubas. Interesting stuff imo.

Yeah, honestly, I would be happy to have that position in a long game, just methodically figure out the defense. But in a blitz setting, white's moves are much easier to find. I still underestimated it though.

And at the same time, I feel like white doesn't deserve the g4 move for free :) I feel like I need to take a pawn to punish it. I'm not sure if that's really the case though.

InfiniteFlash

Ditto, g4 is interesting stuff, gotta be careful :/

Sometimes, there are better ways to punish a gambit than to accept them. Just something to consider vs unclear gambit stuff.

The above link is to the 4th video, its about the Leningrad Dutch opening Nc6 variation.

InfiniteFlash

Hey guys, ive been out of town and busy the past few days, thats why ive been unable to post videos.

I'll post stuff soon enough.

shell_knight

You both play surprisingly slow in your blitz game.  Someone not quite as good but with a steady pace would probably just have a big advantage.

Interesting opening though.

InfiniteFlash

I have terrible time management in fast games!

5th video is up (link below), its probably the last video ill cover on the leningrad system

TeraHammer

I watched 2 of your videos.

You got a clear voice and good talking speed and say your thoughts reasonably well.

But please get a better microphone!!! This one makes you sound really squaky, which is horrible to listen to!

Quality of your analysis I cannot really judge, it is over my skilllevel to judge.

lol yeah, you're probably right. Still it can be tricky sometimes -- if you get a bad position early on it can be much harder to play after that, so getting a good position can be worth the time investment. Still that's probably more of an excuse than anything else. For example that time I spent playing moves like Nd7 I would have loved to have in the sharp portion, to say the least!

InfiniteFlash

I will try to buy a microphone! @terahammer

I agree, its pretty bad. My computer's built-in microphone/speakers are all that I have. Sorry!

Hopefully the issue will be resolved in the coming days.

6th video is up, its on the schliemann gambit, yet another opening with an f-pawn complex.

Pretty straight forward setups against the sidelines.

Its just an introductory video and I know what I recommend may have tactical faults here and there...thereby requiring improvements, but my intention was to portray it more as an ideas video with a decent theory base.

7th video is up now

You've been making videos like there's no tomorrow.  It's quite impressive that you've been able to make so many great videos so quickly.

2...d4 is a move I always wonder about. It's very interesting and it may or may not be decent for black, but I figure white's always going to know the line better than black because black can't pick when to face the reti. If black knows what he's doing, who knows, it may be a decent imbalanced position, but it's easy for him to get into positional trouble if he doesn't have a clear idea in the first few moves. So I am watching your video to get a better idea of it :)
