I hear you; I would love to go back to drinking, but I never took cabs; always insisted I could drive w/no problem. Somehow rational thinking disappeared after the first 7 or 8 beers;
I'm lucky to be alive, or lucky I'm not a quadriplegic, or didn't kill someone. I even wrote totally drunk on a motorcycle.
