Kamusta Ray!

Paano ka naging?

Alam mo ba na nagbalik ang bridget227 noong Pebrero?

I'm Fine Bill (BISHOP_e3) at salamat. How are you?

Pano akong naging ano? How do I become what?

So, bridget (bridget227) came back in February. Nice to know that Bill.

Doing fine sir.

How are you?

Anything new at the APCP club?

Nice to know, Bill, that you are fine. I'm also fine and again, thank you.

Wala akong alam tungkol sa APCP club so far but I will check it. Lalo na sinabi mong bumalik na si bridget.

Hahaha... Okay, what can I do?

Nothing much.

Maybe Christine can revive that group when school is finished (May 1 approx?).

Okay, I think so too.

I don’t play enough anymore, and I would like to improve my game. I sense that I don’t play too sharply these days. I am hopeful that regular practice will help me to regain some of the alertness that I have lost.

Hi all.  I'm Ali.  I'm a teacher.  I love animals and I have a lot of them.  I am passionate about conservation.  I hope to retire soon (or change career path) as teaching is just too awful these days.   I plan to buy a campervan and travel Europe when I retire - looking around before I decide where to buy my long awaited little holiday home.  It will be somewhre warmer than here for sure.  I have never ever played Chess properly.  I see it as a personal challenge.  I am just beginning to understand what you guys are talking about on some of the threads - I can't imagine ever buying a Chess book.  I have looked inside a couple on Amazon and just can't make sense of them.  I imagine my first Chess book will be a big milestone but I'm not sure I'll ever get to that level of understanding.  I just about plan a few moves ahead occasionally.   So far thouh I am just loving it.  Who knew?

It's really nice to get to know some of you - this is a great post.   Cheers!

My first chess book was Irving Chernev, Logical Chess. It explains every move in 33 games. It is very entertaining as well as instructive. It is still in print. (I bought my copy in 1972 for 95p). You might find it helpful.

Tom - I will blame you, you know that don't you?  I feel like I've just jumped on a slippery slope....  openings.png

Jack (Prof_Moon), continue playing chess and practice it. Hopefully, someday you will get better in chess.

I was confused about West Virginia and ND. Is that North Dakota?
