Introducing NTWARI CHESS 10x10: Burundian Warrior Variant with Hammer, Bow, Trident & Shield!

‎Hello Chess Variants community!

‎‎I'm Ipolain NTWARI from Burundi, and I've created NTWARI CHESS 10x10 – a fresh warrior-themed chess variant on a 10x10 board! Inspired by Burundian strength and strategy, it adds 4 new powerful pieces: War Hammer (T), Longbow (M), Trident (Y), and War Shield (H).

‎Board Setup (10x10, columns A-J, rows 1-10):

‎White (bottom, yellow in app) starts:

‎- Row 1: Rook(A), Knight(B), Bishop(C), War Hammer(T)(D), Queen(E), King(F), Longbow(M)(G), Bishop(H), Knight(I), Rook(J)

‎- Row 2: Pawns (10 pawns across A-J)

‎- Rows 3-8: Empty

‎- Row 9: Black Pawns

‎- Row 10: Black symmetric: Rook(A), Knight(B), Bishop(C), War Hammer(T)(D), King(E), Longbow(M)(F), Bishop(G), Knight(H), Rook(I)

‎New Pieces Movements (balanced for fun – full rules in Rezona play):

‎- War Hammer (T) ⚒: Moves like Rook (any orthogonal) + can strike 1 square adjacent orthogonally (like Rook + Wazir).

‎- Longbow (M) 🏹: Shoots like Bishop but unlimited diagonal, non-blockable (Bishop-rider style).

‎- Trident (Y) 🔱: Jumps 3 squares diagonally in any direction (like enhanced Alfil) + captures adjacent diagonally.

‎- War Shield (H) 🛡: Moves 1 square any direction (King-like) + blocks enemy attacks on adjacent allies (defensive bonus).

‎Rules:

‎- Standard chess: Checkmate wins, stalemate draw, pawn promotion to any piece on row 10.

‎- Pawns: Advance 1-2 first move, capture diagonal.

‎- No castling/en passant for simplicity (custom setup).

‎- Win by checkmate or opponent resigns.
