WOW you are old if you think kids are still using Napster, Myspace and Geocities.
Is it trolling, or is it just social incompatibility?

I think you're the troll, mentally ill or socially incompatible one.

I always check the flag the poster is showing and give a lot of latitude if it may be that English might not be their first language.
Hi, what kind of software do you consult, COBOL and FORTRAN?

I think you're the troll, mentally ill or socially incompatible one.
Oh. multiple-choice?
"What is, socially incompatible Alex?"

I think this may be onto something.
My kindly suggestions just to relax, have fun in college, and meet some girls, has been soundly rejected by the younger generation, who thinks that going to parties, mingling, and "networking" with hot chicks is "stupid" and a waste of time.
Instead of "loosen up, Daddy-O" the mantra of the current generation of college students is "tighten up, you old Hipster!"
I was just thinking, that a lot of people labelled as "trolls" may not be intentionally trying to cause disruption, but just may have problems communicating effectively to the people on this forum due to age, cultural issues, mental illness, or other things.
I myself have been accused of being a troll from time to time. I am not intentionally trying to be wierd -- the way I think probably is just outside of the norms of most people on this site. This probably has to do with me being a bit older than most members here (I'm 64 years old). Another reason could be that I do not regularly use the internets and have no experience with Napster, Myspace, Geocities, and those other popular webrings that the kids are using.
Thanks.
