Limit on the amount of people you can block?

Is there only so many people you can block? I thought I read this once and thus have blocked people less than I would like.

It would be good to hear an admin say how many. I would like to block people for bad behaviour on a more regular basis than I am doing now, but I do not want to run out of people to block.
