Most cowardly player I've ever faced on chess.com

Sort:

Position won, 17 minutes on the clock. In the next move is mate, the victory is already mine, just take my points and go home happy, right?
Wrong! The player [remove player name mod SB] made me wait for 8 minutes until I won the match. Note that I even asked in the chat for him to leave and threatened to report him, and it doesn't matter to him. continued to wind me up endlessly. Chess.com says that if we report it, it will solve the problem, how? This player must do this in every match and has never been punished. Too disappointed! This type of person does not represent chess.
(PS: And after we lose our minds and offend such a player, the punishment comes to us...)

(PS2: Him have 4 minutes in o'clock in print, but him make me wait in this position at 9-10 minutes).

[Mod Stumpyblitzer] removed game name and shame

i know the feeling, but there are frustrated people like that. you can do other things while you wait, when this happens to me i just do puzzles. to be honest, i don't mind it that much, i am glad i won and just move on

Nightwish85

but you have to admit, most people are ok and just resign or play until you win the game, they don't do this kind of thing.

yeah, it is, but people are different and some feel the need to let the frustration out and sort of "yell".

but have to agree, giving the name of the player is a big no no

If I face those kinds of players, I just get a drink from the fridge and relax while shaking my head at my opponent who is just wasting their time.

Shame? What is justice to you? I have things to do at home, work. and even after playing a nice game I need to spend 9 minutes being 'ashamed' in a winning position. However, is it my mistake to disclose the opponent who made me a clown? In what world do you live in?

Nightwish85

oh, and btw, something like that happened to me recently in a daily game and i had to wait 5 days for his time to run out happy.pnghappy.pnghappy.png  so 8 minutes is rather decent grin.png

I would play another game simultaneously on lichess

uhm, that's risky, because you don't know from the start that he will make you wait, there is the chance opponent is just thinking long happy.png  i rather do puzzles so i can keep an eye on the game too and react if necessary grin.png

He's just mocking the fact, we have moderators to punish wrong things. Probably the one punished in the story will be me, after all, it is easier to punish those who cry out for justice than those who do evil.

OMG....I had to wait....I almost died from the wait....Why doesn't someone make a made or TV movie about this travesty????  Or at least write a book about this inhumane treatment.  I mean it ranks right up there with the great disasters of man.

I had to wait

Nightwish85

well, to be honest, i opened the forums and selected unanswered thinking that maybe someone needs help with something and nobody wrote anything back. i saw this, wanted to soften things a bit, but meh, i don't want to end up regretting it.

@ Minecraftado  relax bud, after all, what;s the actual tragedy here?  that you waited 9 minutes for a game to finish? move on

Nightwish85

This is going the wrong way, i'm out of here, good luck!

Oh my gosh chess.com! I like had this opponent who tried to flag me on time when I was only down by just half a minute. Like what? Are they trying to give me such a humiliating loss because of my little time disadvantage? UGH! I cannot tolerate this unsportsmanlike behavior chess.com. You should ban my opponent for hurting my feelings.

DrSpudnik

Leaving your opponent to sit there for ages is a real baby move. These people should grow up.

breakerofwind

Yeah, we wouldn't want to flood the forums and be deprived of all the important stuff such as "How many achievements to you have?"
