Of course I will pray for him, and for you and your family too. The poor man he must be in such turmoil to contemplate doing such a thing. Even though he is sedated, talk to him tell him how much you love him, he will hear you. Tell him how we are all praying for him, right across the world. Give our love to your Mum, she must be desperate too. Keep strong when you can. God is good, and he won't let him go if this is not his time to go. God bless you all.

It is posts such as these, rather than eBusiness's, which have no real place in such a thread. They are blatant propaganda, nothing else - others have managed to post simply that they'll pray for his father, or wish him well, or add constructive comments without pushing the 'Jesus saves' nonsense.

Honestly, have we come so far that one guys innocent request can't be honored without these internet atheists having to pop in and give their two cents?
Have we gotten so PC as a society that one guy being like "Hey guys, this is upsetting, please pray" is now considered to be an opportunity for people to come out and tell the internet how they feel about prayer?

My dad jumped off a bridge during a depressive low. He suffered a double compound femur break and was diagnosed to never walk again. He spiralled downwards but after checking his will I booked him in with Dignitas and his problem was cured for good.
I have never looked back and have not had to work since.
God really does work in mysterious ways.

Count on it. Make very sure you also take care of yourself too. This is heavy. If you remain strong, it helps everybody around you. Prayin' for both of you.

We're not out of the woods yet, but he's in better shape today than he was yesterday. Hopefully my next update will be equally encouraging.

You have to be strong for him and embrace him. WHEN he feels better, literally hold your father and tell him how you feel.
I pray for your father to make through this hard time in his life, and for god to guide you guys through this tough procedure.
My dad has just had to have a double bipass and it can really shake you up when your olds dont look as invincible as you have always thought....
Ive dealt with suicide before aswell and as much as you think god is gonna help im here to tell you he probably wont. Sounds like he needs professional help and support from friends and family more than anything else....

You don't recognize it as propaganda, that is why it is so effective for that purpose. The moment you recognize a piece of propaganda you will dismiss it as so, and it has lost it's effect.
Any other thread endorsing religious practices would be flamed to ashes, but whether intentional or not Billium has given this one an effective cover.
