my friend who joined today got banned unfairly

Is there an achievement award for that.?....muted on day 1.?  surprise  I must be a slow learner.....it took me a couple of yrs...cry   This thread reminds me of that classic line in the movie "Casino"........  "well sure they kill a few people every now and then, but other than that their a bunch of nice guys". shock

RonaldJosephCote

This thread might have legs.....  not about the banning or the muting.....  that's completely irrelevant.  Something very sick inside of me is drawing me to the OP's 1st line......   "My friend in my school, founder of Comedy Central Chatting Service"    meh  evil  tongue     Should we ask?.....NO! don't do it Cote.....don't open THAT can of worms   ?? Ok, what is a "chatting service"?   Maybe THAT's what the site is afraid of.

then how come he can't even get on

I don't see anything mods have access to that would indicate the account should have any issues logging in. Without know what exactly happens when trying to log in, I can't offer anything else.

Support may be the best option for your friend.

why would you want my friend to be muted when he did nothing bad

How would you know what he did? Are you God or something? Can you look into his soul?

InsertInterestingNameHere

he lost his first game in 7 moves

i can only imagine what he said to get muted...

Your thread title is misleading......"banned unfairly".   They take the're bannigs seriously and no-one is banned "unfairly". They all EARNED it.

flabbi

Muted.  A case of mutation.

well probably because he has access again

I never said he got muted though, so probably was just a temporary error

Comedy central chat? What the p*ss does that have to do with anything? "Hey, I'm complaining about my friend who got banned. Don't worry though, he was the one that came up with the recipe for New Coke."

  1. Don't swear in the forum
  2. OK, it doesn't have to do with anything, just saying he is an important friend, but I guess me just making this forum makes him important to me

"I didn't ask if he got muted"....shock   We've all been bamboozled again...                     Well played Mr Penguin,...well played. angry

It kinda sucks that I participated in all this. As Nietzsche wrote, “Battle not on the forums, lest ye become a monster, and if you gaze into the replies, the abyss gazes also into you.”

So we really don't know still. He told you? Anyone can tell anyone anything. People always make themselves into victims, unfairly abused by a thoughtless system. Oh, boo hoo!  So far all we know is that this has proven a fertile ground for trolling about nonsense.

well how do you prove him guilty? If there is no proof he is guilty, he is innocent.

And he said he was muted actually

You seem to have a logic problem going here: Just because there is no proof of guilt does not mean that the person is innocent. They may well be guilty, but there is just no available proof. At most, you could say that one has no right to call someone guilty without that fact being ascertained.

it's the 5th amendment of the usa that says "innocent before guilty." It's part of the bill of rights
