New Site Design Feedback

Please change the position of "Delete" button in group notes, to the same line as time-stamp.

I don't really like this new version.

Why don't you guys consider adding a "Switch to old look" button, for those who don't really like the new look?

I was offered the new page and went back to the old, probably because I am a senior member of chess.com.  But now that it has been thrust upon me I actually prefer it to the old way!!!

I only have one complaint.

The complaint is that when you look at the statistics it is impossible (at least on my computor) to actually see the ratings when scanning along the 'Chess Stats' bar graph!!

Keep up the good work, Chess.com is still the number one site, thanks guys!!

PLease remove the sign from this message box,it annoys the hell out of me to be told every time to be polite,helpful,and relevant.

This has already destroyed the jovial nature of this site. 

I disagree, most of us are polite, helpful etc:  but it's a nice extra touch to be kept in my opinion.

Hopeless - why change - can't cope I am off to site that doesn't change - why do this - small changes yes but why so much ? what was the demand for it ? I am resigning all my games - hopeless

good point - caissa.com went completely down the pan went it changed some years ago - hopefully iccf will not change and I may try chesscube again.

just all froze up on me when i pressed post comment without writing anything - had to clear cache - i have fonts crossing over each other in group comments - does anything actually work on this new design - where are the positives - are they listed somewhere - i better go and look - and why are w s faint?

what's BS - that we don't listen? come on!! :) i've read more than 2,000 forum comment threads and sent hundreds of personal messages in the last 2 days alone discussing with members how to improve the site. find me another website owner of a site with 5 million members who does that :)

Any idea when/if the Privacy issue would be resolved?  My 'friends' list, tactics / mentor ratings should be allowed to be hidden. I really (and many others also) HATE the idea that just anyone, by going to my home page would have access to my 'friends' list, etc. Not everything should be available to everyone.

Haven't read all the posts here, but this seemed as good a place as any to post this.

I miss the running timer on the tactics trainer.  Once completed (successfully or unsuccessully), the stats for the particular situation are shown...including average time to solve.  I USED to be able to see how long it took me to solve it...as I was solving it.  Now that time is only available on the summary page.  Any way to get it back WHILE I'm working the puzzle?

I guess 'erik' is the boss of chess.com, if you are or have contact with the boss I just want to say that I have tried other chess websites and found them by comparison very poor to chess.com.  It's a new format guys, get real, get used to it or produce your own or go to another site!!  I think the changes, after my own personal adjustment to them are great, actually the site, if you actually take the time to look is better than before.

I know the only change appears superficial but there are some wonderfully subtle changes which make it more user friendly, perhaps with the exception of the 'chess stats' bar grapth details!!  Erik, take a look please!!
