Okay, after a few puzzles, I have to say, for casual players like me, the "standard" mode is nice and relaxing. "Standard" trains the general patterns to look out for and "extra hard" trains for when you see those patterns, but there are traps along the way to trip you up. Switching between them seems like a good overall strategy. Really, I think chess.com has this very well balanced. When my smooth chess brain messes-up a standard puzzle, it really hurts my rating, and when I'm on a crazy beverage-induced run, I also don't wind-up at some unrealistic rating for my level like 2,900. Good job, chess.com! 🍻
