haha ... i signed out 4 a few mins... then i kept tryin 2 sign in and i was thinkin i had gone mad and 4gotten my password after a few mins lol... thnks for the update... glad 2 know i wasnt goin mentally insane!:)
I thought it was the end of the world as we knew it (actually, I didn't notice it, but I just wanted to post this).
Thank goodness, I spent about 5 minutes repeatedly trying to log in, and began concerning myself with the possibility of having become a victim of somekind of chess.com identity theft, lol.
lol same as bob... i think everyone was thinkin the same thing ... oh well ... at least it only lasted a few mins... if lasted longer many people may have gone insane until they found out the reason lol

This isn't a specifically a chess.com comment but something that can be useful when you don't know whether a site has crashed, or whether the problem is with your own connection.
Visit this page http://downforeveryoneorjustme.com/ and enter the url you're trying to reach and they'll test it and advise.

Ahhhhh, once again, the apocalypse has been avoided.
Sorry about the recent site problem! One of our servers crashed hard and we have to restart it. Apologies to those who were affected.
