Oh thankfully the site is back up again - I got scared there for a second: my gaze went from the computer screen over to the window, through which I saw an odd radiant lumination emanating. I was like... what is that? I wandered over and looked out - and behold! I remebered! The sun! Trees! Life!
I was in the midst of tying my shoes, ready to venture out on an adventure in the fresh air when I saw that the site was back up. PHEW - talk about a close call, eh?
How did you break your arm, Pete??

The site was down for a few minutes and some of you are all curious why (I would be too!). We are currently in the middle of optimizing our database because the site is growing growing growing and we have more and more users, and more and more data, and we are optimizing how all of that interacts.
This is one of the biggest causes of disconnects on Live Chess :(
Sorry about the inconvenience - but hopefully we'll get everything super duper fast very soon!
